Good morning! I trust that you are doing well and are ready to meet with God, whether at the building or in your home - or wherever you may be today.
Today we have a great message that you don't want to miss. The adult sermon's subtitle is "How God lifts me up when I’m worn down." We are all probably feeling at least a little worn down right now, some of us much more than a little. We know our hope, our rest, our strength is found in Him. Let's lean on and rest in our Father more than ever.
My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him.
Psalm 62:1 (NIV)
Thank you, Father!
Here's a resource to help your child focus on what they are learning and to guide your discussion after church. If you don't have a printer, you might jot down on a piece of paper some of the questions you want your child to think about.
This week we will be testing the kids on Psalm 23:2. It would be good to reinforce these verses from Psalm 23 by talking to your kids about what they mean and how they have been proven in your life.
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters.
Psalm 23:2 (NIrV)
