VLC 2024 Review

As we reflect back on 2024, we are thankful for the ways in which we saw the Lord at work through the various ministries and events at Vineyard Life Church. We've put together a snapshot summary of our year in review. Thank you for generosity this past year. We are looking forward to the great things that the Lord has in store 2025 at Vineyard Life Church.

Encounter Nights

Pastor Mandy Clark and our worship team put together some amazing Encounter Nights where almost everyone present received prayer and/or prayed for someone else. We’ve continued to see our Encounter Nights bring people into a deeper connection with Jesus through prayer, worship, and ministry together.

Kid City Camp

God used Kid City as a vehicle to connect hearts and create relationships. Our theme this past year was, “On The Case” where we looked deeper into the truths of God’s word. Through serving dinner and leading activities, the dozens of volunteers who gave their time each night to serve were able to share the message and practical love of Jesus.

Backpack Giveaway

We partnered with Westlake Elementary for our annual Backpack Giveaway to provide over 200 students with backpacks and supplies. This was a great opportunity to connect with families in the community as we served hot dogs and shaved ice to those who came to pick up backpacks and supplies.

Youth Events

Our IMPACT Youth Group saw middle and high school students continue to engage and connect with each other and God at a deeper level. Our youth group attended Reverb for the first time this year–an annual weekend retreat which is an extension of the Vineyard. We also launched our first ever weeklong youth event, called Ignite! Middle and high school students invited their friends, competed in team-building activities, engaged in worship, and listened and applied messages during each night of the week.

Food Pantry

The Pantry Team served food and resources to dozens of families each month. We’ve seen many lives touched and served in the community through this ministry. Our Little Free Pantry also continues to be available 24/7 with resources for the community to those in need.

Women & Men’s Ministry Events

Our women attended Camp Allendale where they enjoyed time together both outdoors and inside. There were great messages given by some of our very own women at VLC, as well as worship and extra time to engage in activities spending time together. Our Men also went to Ransburg Scout Reservation to make deeper connections with each other while spending time in the woods. Our very first “Carpenter Games” were held as well where men competed on teams with some intense strategic and physically intensive activities! All-in-all, a great time was had across both ministries.

Compassion Connection outreach

Our Compassion Connection events served as our way to love on our community by simply praying for them and extending the love of Jesus through simple measures of kindness. We saw new people attend Vineyard Life Church in 2024 because of our faithfulness with this neighborhood outreach event.

New Restrooms!

We raised money to renovate our restrooms that were much overdue for a new makeover! Because of your help, we were able to bring our restrooms up to date and make them ADA compliant. We’ve gotten so many compliments on our new restrooms and are glad to finally have this much-awaited project completed! Thank you to all who gave toward this project.
